We are a few minutes walk from the main train station in Florence, Santa Maria Novella or SMN. The one-way fare of the airport bus between SMN train station and the Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci-Peretola) is € 6.

​DEPARTURE POINT: SMN Train Station, across from the taxi stand in front of the station.

SCHEDULES: Starting at 5:30 A.M. Every 30 minutes. Schedules are posted under the “Volainbus” sign at the departure point.

TRAVEL TIME: approx. 25 minutes. Can be longer during heavy traffic or shorter if early morning.

TAXI ALTERNATIVE: Fixed fare of € 20 during the day from Monday through Saturday. € 24 at night and € 22 on Sundays.

LUGGAGE: € 1 per piece. We can call to reserve a taxi for you the night before if you need to catch an earlier flight.

CAR: You are generally not allowed to drive in the city center. However “Hotel Il Bargellino” can be reached without specific permits. Plot the route on a map before you go. Keep in mind that if you drive on a street marked (ZTL) “Limited Traffic Zone” you WILL receive a hefty fine.
